After an extensive career in the financial services industry, Bacon established Asset Planning & Management in 1997. The registered investment advisory firm provides financial planning, investment management, and special services tailored to the unique needs of individuals, their families, professional practices, and closely held businesses.

training in New York City and passing her General Securities Representative (Series 7) examination, she joined their Seattle office, specializing in investing for individuals and closely held businesses.
A Spokane native, Bacon joined a local financial institution in 1986. Charged with creating and managing trust business development and securities brokerage departments, she developed an integrated approach to meet the trust and investment needs of individual and business clients. Over a 10-year period, this approach brought nearly $300 million of client assets under management.
A Certified Financial Planner™ licensee, Bacon has actively pursued professional education throughout her career. She attended the Cannon Trust School, completing work in personal trust and employee benefit trust. In addition to the Series 7 license, she has held the Municipal Securities Representative (Series 52), Municipal Securities Principal (Series 53), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), and life and disability insurance agent licenses. Currently, she holds the Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series 65) license.
Bacon is a member of the Financial Planning Association, Board of Arbitrators of the National Association of Securities Dealers, and Spokane Estate Planning Council. Also, she is an appointee to the Securities Advisory Committee for the State of Washington, Department of Financial Institutions, and serves as a memeber fo the Financial Literacy Work Group. Bacon has authored a variety of financial planning and investment articles for the Journal of Business, SpokaneWoman, and other publications. |
